Ryan Barrett is a Chartered Physiotherapist at Mid West Physiotherapy with a BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Limerick (UL). We were delighted to welcome Ryan to our clinical team in December 2024.

Ryan’s clinical experience ranges from musculoskeletal disorders, including injuries, chronic pain, and joint issues, to managing sports injuries, guiding post-surgical rehabilitation and helping individuals regain independence and function following injury.

Ryan has a passion for sport and has worked with many athletes across rugby, GAA and soccer teams, providing on-field injury assessment, treatment and comprehensive rehabilitation programs to help them return to peak performance. In addition to working here at Mid West Physiotherapy, Ryan currently works as the physiotherapist for Bruff RFC’s rugby team competing in the All-Ireland League.

Outside the clinic, Ryan is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, camping, and running for fitness. In addition to his physical pursuits, he also enjoys music and playing the guitar.
