At Mid West Physiotherapy, our clinicians know just how daunting it feels when you’re starting out in your career. We’ve been there ourselves and we remember all too well that feeling of knowing the theory, but unsure of how to put it into practice.

So, with this in mind, we have designed this “MSK Fundamental Skills Workshop”, tailored especially for physiotherapists who want to feel more confident in treating common MSK presentations.

This course is not about theory; it’s a hands-on, interactive and practical workshop which aims to give you the essential skills and knowhow for treating common MSK presentations.

You will discover proven and effective strategies for managing MSK cases and delivering an excellent service experience to patients. You will learn the questions to ask, the things to look out for, tried and tested methods that work, and how to avoid common mistakes made by inexperienced clinicians.

Event Description

This is a 5-hour, interactive, hands-on, small-group workshop, focusing on fundamental MSK skills, which is delivered in a real clinic environment by experienced MSK physiotherapists.

Together, we will cover:

  1. Practical assessment frameworks – that you can easily replicate
  2. Proven assessments and treatment techniques – that will work for your patients
  3. Exploration of real-life case studies – like those that you will meet every day in-clinic
  4. Guided clinical reasoning exercises – to help you to think like an experienced clinician
  5. Small group discussions – to consolidate your learning
  6. 5* service elements – that will elevate your patient experience from good to great.

 

You will be supported throughout by experienced MSK clinicians who work in private practice every day and understand the challenges of early-career physiotherapists.
