Mairéad is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a strong clinical and academic background. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and a PhD in Stroke Rehabilitation from the University of Limerick, where her research focused on developing an innovative telehealth rehabilitation programme to support people recovering from stroke.
At Mid West Physiotherapy, Mairéad provides assessment and treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including back and neck pain, sports injuries, joint and muscle problems, and persistent pain. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, personalised care, combining the latest research with a warm, patient-centred approach to help people reduce pain, restore movement and return to the activities they enjoy.
Alongside her clinical practice, Mairéad has contributed to research in stroke rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation and digital healthcare, reflecting her commitment to continually advancing patient care through research and innovation.
